Escape to a peaceful slice of lakeside nature, where tiny luxury meets quiet mountain air. Wander just five minutes down the path to a soft sandy beach, sweeping lake and peak views, and gentle trails winding through McDonald Provincial Park.

Wake up to still water, bird song, and towering mountains instead of traffic and city noise. Evenings invite slow strolls by the shore, roasting marshmallow by the fire, or stargazing. You may sometime hear the chirping sound of a coyote or encounter a magical sighting of heron, eagle, osprey, or caribou.

Within a 30‑minute radius, you can soak in four different hot springs, cast a line in prime fishing spots, and explore both mountain biking and stunning hiking trails. The charming village of Nakusp is just a quick 7‑minute drive away, keeping shops, cafés, and local services close without disturbing the tranquility of your stay.

Cozy tiny house comfort

The tiny house wraps you in comfort with a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, laundry, and a spacious shower for unwinding after the day’s adventures (an outdoor shower is also available). A snug bedroom + TV and loft with a convertible sofa + TV, electric fireplace, and cool air conditioning create a calm, restful retreat after time outdoors.

This is a good time for a tech detox and to restore in nature. There is no cell tower in Bayview. However, wifi calling is available through your phone’s setting, but Internet may not be fully reliable.

The Tiny House installation was completed in October 2025. Grass will be growing in the spring 2026, so expect better photos and landscaping during your upcoming trip to Nakusp.

* The sauna and fire pit are not available from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, as we are whole Bible followers and observe the Sabbath.
